BARAKA BISCUITS
Inaugurated in 1984, Baraka Biscuits Factory was one of the first biscuit factories to be established in the Sudan. From modest beginnings with only a small line producing 3,240 tons of biscuits annually,
Over the last 30 years, Baraka biscuits have become an essential part of the Sudanese diet, with the trademark blue wrappers recognized by consumers all over the Sudan, South Sudan and even into neighboring Eritrea, Ethiopia and Chad. For decades, we have been delighting consumers with our ever-growing range of high quality, delicious and well-priced products, which now includes 9 different products.

BARAKA CHIPS
In keeping with our commitment to innovation and continuous development of new products, Baraka Biscuits began offering a range of tasty corn-based and potato-based snacks in 2003. The great success of these products led to the establishment in 2013 of Baraka Chips Factory, a complementary sister-company to Baraka Biscuits focusing on the savory snack market.

Over the last few years, Baraka Chips’ product offering has continuously expanded and now includes more than 13 different best-selling products.
Like Baraka Biscuits, Baraka Chips is centrally located in the town of Wad Medani, Gezira State. This provides access to the whole of the Sudan, as well as neighboring countries. In addition, our dedicated Khartoum-based sales and distribution fleet allows us to ensure that consumers have access to Baraka Chips products at the lowest prices and in the freshest condition.

SAEED FOOD FACTORY
Saeed Food Factory Ltd was established in 1980 as one of the largest industrial complexes for the manufacturing and packaging of consumer food products in the Sudan.
WITH OVER 23 PRODUCTS, SAEED FOOD FACTORY PRODUCTS OCCUPY A TREASURED SPOT IN THE HEARTS OF FAMILIES ACROSS THE WHOLE OF THE SUDAN & SOUTH SUDAN.
Saeed Food Factory's production lines include: a line for tomato paste with an annual capacity of 30,000 tons; a line for juices and squash with an annual capacity of 9,500 tons; a line for jams with an annual capacity of 30,000 tons; multiple automatic filling lines for cans, bottles and jars so as to handle the factory's daily production; an automatic labelling line for bottles and cans; and a state-of-the-art can-making facility with a capacity of 1000 cans per minute.

The main manufacturing facility is located in Khartoum North Industrial District. Saeed Food Factory also owns and operates an agricultural complex, Saeed Agricultural Project, which is located on 3,200 acres of prime farm land on the banks of the Blue Nile approximately 60 km north of Khartoum.

SAEED AGRICULTURAL PROJECT
Consistent with our policy of sustainable expansion and prudent diversification, the decision was made in the early 2000’s to develop some 3,200 fedans of prime agricultural land owned by the Group into a large-scale agricultural project. Saeed Agricultural Project is located on the east bank of the Blue Nile, approximately 70km south-east of Khartoum. The highway from Khartoum to Port Sudan (which extends through Gezira, Gedaref and Kassala States) passes through the Project giving it excellent access to the markets of major cities.
SAEED AGRICULTURAL PROJECT PRODUCES PREMIUM FRESH FRUIT, VEGETABLES, CEREALS, NUTS & ANIMAL FODDER.
Our aim is to satisfy the high local and regional demand for high calibre, well-priced produce. Our team of agriculturists control and check production at every stage. Controls start in the field and follow production right through to processing, packing and storage.
WE POSITION OURSELVES TO SUPPLY PRODUCE OUT OF SEASON THROUGH INVESTMENT IN HIGH-TECH FARMING TECHNIQUES & CONCEPTS SUCH AS PROTECTED HOUSES.
We also look to our heritage for inspiration, for example by following the centuries old local tradition of maintaining bee hives to aid in the pollination of our crops.
The latest development projects at Saeed Agricultural Project include fish farming and animal fattening. We anticipate producing 1200 tons of superior-quality tilapia and catfish per year for the local market. The animal fattening project focuses on the production of prime cattle for human consumption. In the future, Saeed Project will also have a quarantine for the in-house certification of our animals.

MIDDLE EAST PACKAGING
The Middle East Packaging Factory was established in 1995, with the aim of producing quality corrugated carton boxes tailored to our customers’ needs, and quickly rose to become the leading manufacturer of corrugated carton boxes in Sudan. The factory is strategically located in Khartoum North Industrial Area within close reach of many of our customers.
Our advanced machinery and technical know-how enable us to serve a wide range of sectors; such as the local food industries, motor oil industries and export fruits and vegetables sector, just to name a few. Coupled with our understanding of market demands and trends, this provides our customers with a dynamic service offering.
DESIGNING, MANUFACTURING & DELIVERING PRODUCTS TO PRECISELY SUIT OUR CUSTOMERS' NEEDS, WE ALWAYS ENSURE THAT OUR PACKAGING IS AVAILABLE WITH THE RIGHT QUALITY & ON TIME.
Our commitment to the concept of total quality control throughout the manufacturing process, including selecting the best raw materials and ensuring thorough supervision of the production, has earned us the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System certification from SGS Switzerland in 2002.
IN LINE WITH OUR QUALITY PROMISE, A NEW COMPLETE QUALITY CONTROL LAB HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE FACILITY, WITH ADVANCED TESTING EQUIPMENT.
We also invested in 2010 the company invested heavily in a second state of the art production line, increasing our production capacity from 10,000 tons/year to 30,000 tons/year. This makes us the only packaging factory in Sudan with two running production lines, which puts us in the best position to supply the increasing demands of our customers, while reacting rapidly to the dynamic changes in their packaging needs.
MABCO PLASTICS
MABCO Plastics Co. Ltd first started production in December 1989. The first products we manufactured were household storage products such as plastic jerricans. Today, MABCO produces a wide range of high-quality plastic goods, ranging from children's chairs to household buckets.
THE FACTORY CONSISTS OF 25 INJECTION-MOULDING MACHINES, WITH PRODUCTION CAPACITY RANGING FROM 250 METRIC TONS TO 1,250 METRIC TONS. WE ALSO HAVE MORE THAN 10 BLOW-MOULDING MACHINES.
The factory is located on a 5,000m2 site in Omdurman Light Industrial Area, an ideal location to access the key demand centre of Khartoum State.
MABCO also has strong distribution links which ensure its products reach consumers all over the Sudan.
THROUGH CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION OF CONSISTENTLY HIGH QUALITY, WELL-PRICED PRODUCTS, MABCO HAS BUILT UP A STRONG AND LOYAL CONSUMER BASE.
This success has enabled us to embark on successive programs of expansion and development, meaning that today MABCO is a leader in the sudanese plastics market.
As part of our expansion program, MABCO has acquired a further 4,000m2 plot of land, flanking the eastern side of the existing factory. High quality steel hangers are being erected to accommodate new state of the art injection and blow moulding machines, which will be used to satisfy the constant and increasing demand for MABCO products.
MABCO HAS A LONG-STANDING COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY IN MANUFACTURING.
We have invested to reduce energy and resource consumption and the waste generated during the plastic production processes. We regularly review the amounts of utilities and raw materials MABCO consumes in order to continually improve manufacturing processes and invest in new, more efficient systems, technology and equipment. This allows for reduced energy and resource consumption. At MABCO, we also continually seek ways to reduce and recycle waste – examples range from reusing scrap on the factory floor to using less paper in offices.
SAEED MINING COMPANY
Saeed Mining Company Ltd was recently established to explore opportunities arising in the minerals exploration and development sector.The Company seeks to combine the Saeed Industrial and Commercial Group's strong local knowledge and deep project management experience with foreign and local geological expertise to develop the mineral wealth of the Sudan.

Altogether, our comprehensive distribution network provides a near total coverage of the country.
AL MADINA Al MONAWARA
Al-Madina Al-Monawara Match Company Ltd was established in Khartoum North Industrial Area in 1997. Commercial production started on the same year with one production line with a capacity of 215 million boxes per annum. This line was equipped with technologically advanced machinery in order to produce high-quality matches that could compete with the imported matches that at the time dominated the Sudanese market.
AL-MADINA AL-MONAWARA MATCHES WERE WELL-RECEIVED IN THE SUDANESE MATCH MARKET & SOON CAME TO BE THE PREEMINANT BRAND.
To satisfy this high local demand and also to ensure sufficient capacity for export to neighboring countries, the Company simultaneously took two important expansionary steps. The first step was to purchase the factory of its then largest competitor, The Modern Match Production and Distribution Company. The second step was to purchase a new production line. After rehabilitation and modernization of the old Modern Match factory and erection of the new line, Al-Madina Al-Monawara Match Company hit the market with a huge increase in production in 2003.
